Manchester City fullback Benjamin Mendy says there's similarities between manager Pep Guardiola and Marcelo Bielsa.

Mendy played for Lille coach Bielsa at Marseille.

He said, "At a football level, he is the same family of Guardiola. Both of them have the same spirit, the same things at the tactical level, the same way to play, and the fact that the same school is of help.

"Working with Guardiola for me is the ultimate in my development and my future."
