Manchester City fullback Danilo is out of Brazil's World Cup campaign.

Danilo has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with an ankle ligament injury.

Brazil confirmed Danilo had picked up the injury in training less than 24 hours before the showdown with Roberto Martinez's men.

He will play no further part in the tournament but will remain with the rest of the squad in Russia as they look to win their first World Cup since 2002.

Brazil remain the favourites for the tournament but the news will come as a major blow to Tite.
