Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo is counting on a move to Barcelona this month.

The Portugal international is available after spending the second-half of last season on-loan with Bayern Munich.

Interest has arrived from France and Italy for Cancelo this summer.

But Sport says Cancelo's absolute first choice is a move to Barcelona. He plans not to listen to any other offers and instead force a move to Spain.

Primarily, a loan agreement until next summer appears to be likely for the fullback, whose contract with City expires in the summer of 2027.
