Nigerian wonderkid Kelechi Iheanacho is on the brink of signing for Manchester City. The Mirror says City are tying up a work permit for Iheanacho.

The 17-year-old is set to join the Blues after starring in the Under-17 World Cup last summer, but it has proved to be a complex deal.

City backroom duo Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain have used their contacts in Barcelona to take him to Spain for training before he comes to England to start work with Manuel Pellegrini's men.
