Manchester City fans have moved to show their total support of manager Roberto Mancini.

The Manchester Evening News says City fans have begun a campaign to show their support for manager Roberto Mancini - whether he wins them the title or not.

City fan Andy Savage, whose mcfcforum website has adopted the campaign, says it is more aimed at showing appreciation for Mancini than trying to put any pressure on the owners.

"There has been a lot of pressure on the manager from the London-based press," said Savage. "We decided to show that, even if we finish second, we are sick of chopping and changing.

"If Mancini goes at the end of the season, it is not in any way, shape or form a criticism of the owners or the board."
