Manchester City are willing to shop in the Premier League for a new centre-half.
Sky Sports says City are considering signing Jonny Evans or Caglar Soyuncu from Leicester City to solve their defensive crisis.
City wanted to sign Evans from West Brom in 2017 but were rebuffed on a number of occasions.
Pep Guardiola has said in the past that the club will not buy a new centre half in January.
This is despite the City boss wanting to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester before he moved to Manchester United in the summer.
This came after defender Vincent Kompany left the club to become a player-coach at Anderlecht.
