Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is keen on Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani.
The Italy international is starring on-loan at Juventus this season, though the Bianconeri are reluctant to meet the agreed €16 million option to make things permanent.
City boss Mancini is keen to take Aquilani off Liverpool's hands and would have no problem meeting their asking price.
"He's doing very well and is very impressive," Mancini recently said of the midfielder.
Inter Milan have also made contact and tabled a tentative offer of €10 million cash plus fullback Davide Santon in exchange.
