Manchester CityJohn Stones expressed his pride after his side managed to win their Champions League group.

The Sky Blues picked up a point in their clash against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

Despite the dull 0-0 contest, Stones was delighted with the clean sheet and their status as group winners heading into the knockout rounds.

He stated to club media post-game: "I think topping the group is always our goal from the start of the season. A lot of tough teams in the group as well.

"To keep recreating that and topping the group, getting through to the next stage is massive for us as a club and a team. It's really a happy dressing room after the game.

"It's not easy to do. It's something I'm extremely proud of and the lads are as well. To do it with one game to go is something special."
