Man City defender Richards to use oxygen tent

Micah Richards says he will sleep in an oxygen tent in a bid to get himself right for Manchester City's FA Cup semi-final clash with Manchester United on April 16.

The 22-year old right-back injured his hamstring playing for the England U21s against Denmark on Thursday evening and is in danger of missing the historic clash with United at Wembley.

But he says he will do whatever he can to get fit so he can be a part of the famous cup's penultimate match.

"I will do anything and everything to make that game," Richards said.

"I knew straight away what I had done because I heard the dreaded 'ping'. It is a bit sore but I'm hoping it is not too bad.

"Some of the other lads have used an oxygen tent to help them recover more quickly from injuries so I am willing to give it a go. I will sleep in the thing if necessary.

"I want to be available for that game against United. It is going to be a great occasion."
