Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi is seeking crunch talks with manager Pep Guardiola.
The Sun says he has lost his place to the new pairing of John Stones and Aymeric Laporte in the Premier League and hasn't been getting a chance in Europe either.
Otamendi, who pulled out of international duty this week with an Achilles problem, didn't even make the squad for last week's derby and Guardiola has asked him to be patient.
Yet although the 30-year-old is more than happy at the Etihad, he wants reassurances that he will get some action before long.
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are admirers of Otamendi, who earns around £90,000 a week, and if he continues to miss out at City, will consider his options in the summer.
