Manchester City defender John Stones admits he's bitterly disappointed over last season's campaign.

Stones is now under pressure to raise his game with Pep Guardiola admitting strengthening his defence is his priority.

He admits his massive fee became a burden, but he said: “It's all part of the game.

"Now I'm just focused on getting into the team, playing well and making sure that the team wins.

"For me, it's about knowing that I haven't done my job as well as I should have done."
