Man City defender Joel Latibeaudiere satisfied with Twente loan

Manchester City defender Joel Latibeaudiere has no regrets over his loan spell with FC Twente this past Eredivisie season.

While Latibeaudiere concedes that he would have liked some more game time with FC Twente this season, he noted that the spell has been good for his overall development as a player and the experience as a whole has made him more well-rounded as a footballer.

He told the Manchester Evening News: “I was hoping to play more games obviously but I was out there in a top European league for my first loan spell so I learnt so much stuff especially when I'm used to being at such a dominant club at academy level and first team level.

“Most of the time we [City] are winning so then go to FC Twente who had just got promoted into the Eredivisie where they're not the strongest team in the league… we had to change tactics to play against different teams in the league.

“It was just something to add to my game knowing that I can do that side of the game as well."
