Manchester City signing Jerome Boateng was happy to shake hands with brother Kevin-Prince yesterday.

Germany defender Jerome clashed with Ghana's Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince in last night's World Cup tie.

The pair had not been on speaking terms after Kevin-Prince felt Jerome did not support him over his tackle on Michael Ballack.

But last night, Jerome declared: "We have not spoken to each other before the match, but I have shaken hands with him. He remains my brother.

"This family feud will not last forever."
