Man City defender Boateng feeling comfortable with Premier League pace

Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng says he's quickly adjusted to the pace of the Premier League.

Boateng has featured at both centre half and at full back in recent games and shrugs at the mention of his ability to switch roles so effortlessly.

"I am happy anywhere along the back," he stressed to City's website. "It is not a problem for me. I believe I can fit into several positions.

"There is great competition at the back with at least two players for each role so no one is becoming complacent in any way.

"Until we conceded three goals last weekend we had been very hard to score against and hopefully that will continue.

"I am enjoying my arrival in the Premier League. I have settled well and I have a good relationship with my teammates, the staff and with the supporters. I like the passion of the English game. I think we can have a successful season. We are still improving."
