Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji was elated after scoring in his home country last night.
The center half got a valuable goal for his team in a 3-1 win over BSC Young Boys in the Champions League group stages.
Akanji, who won the Treble last season, got to show off his talent to a home crowd in Bern.
"Yeah it did [feel special]," he told reporters post-game.
"We already had a lot of chances in the first half and the second half. I think if we used the chances well, we could have scored three or four goals in the first half, but we didn't.
"We tried to go in the second half. We gave Young Boys some hope and they had their chances too.
"Then we went up 0-1 and then shortly after conceded 1-1. We reacted to that and scored two goals after.
"I'm really happy that we got the three points. It happens sometimes that you don't use your chances up front.
"You have got to stay calm and keep attacking."
