Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is again in the sights of Manchester City. The Daily Mail says City continue to monitor Torres' situation at Liverpool and no longer believe the Spaniard to be an unrealistic target should they fail to land Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg.
City boss Roberto Mancini is keen for a target man to ease the load on captain and top scorer Carlos Tevez as well as giving City more tactical options.
Mancini's interest in Torres has been strong for some time. Only now, though, are City beginning to suspect that Liverpool may contemplate a deal, despite them saying in public that Torres is not for sale.
