Manchester City are convinced of landing Barcelona striker Thierry Henry for £10 million.

The People says they believe Barca can be persuaded to sell Henry, who is open to the idea of a move back to England.

Henry's prospects have improved in his second season at the Nou Camp under boss Pep Guardiola but it is believed he could be tempted to City - especially as they are one of the few clubs in the world who could improve his current £110,000-a-week wages.

The French striker and Arsenal legend also has a young daughter in England so a move to the Premier League would help his personal life.
