Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is chasing Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The People says Argentine hitman Higuain, 25, has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho and is attracted by the chance to link up with close friend Sergio Aguero at the Etihad.
City are willing to go to £25million for Higuain.
