Manchester City and Celtic are battling for Birmingham City centre-back Mitchell Roberts.
The Sun says the Scottish champions' transfer window remains open, which gives them the edge in the race for the 18-year-old defender.
Both clubs are tracking Roberts after catching the eye in the Development Squad at St Andrew's.
He caught the eye of Manchester City in the summer when Birmingham Under-23s played in a friendly at the Etihad Campus.
But Celtic are also firmly in the running for the centre-back and believe they can land him while the Premier League window is closed.
The teenager signed a one-year pro deal in the summer and is expected to sold for the right price.
