Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes Arsenal were lucky to escape with a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
The reigning Premier League champions scored first before fighting back to hold the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium but Pellegrini feels his side were unlucky not to get out of north London with all three points.
The Chilean tactician suggested after the match that Arsenal's two goals, scored by Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez, were dubious due to fouls in the lead-up and advocated that his City outfit were the better of the two teams.
"I think it was a great game, two very good teams which try to play, both teams are very creative," Pellegrini told BT Sport.
"Today both goals by Arsenal were very clear fouls, the first one, two or three continuous fouls and the second one (Danny) Welbeck on Vincent (Kompany).
"Wilshere had two hands in front of the linesman and it is a clear penalty, so in that case I must be very happy with the draw.
"We have more possession and more chances than Arsenal."
City took the lead through Sergio Aguero in the 28th minute when the Argentine swiftly finished a pinpoint ball from Jesus Navas before Arsenal hit back just after the hour-mark when Wilshere dinked a deft right-footed effort over Joe Hart following a ball from Aaron Ramsey.
Arsene Wenger's side then went ahead on 74 minutes courtesy of a sublime side-footed volley from Sanchez before an unmarked Martin Demichelis headed home a corner from Aleksandar Kolarov in the 83rd minute.
The 2013-14 Premier League champions now have two wins, a draw and a loss form their opening four fixtures while the Gunners have a win and three draws in the early stages of the 2014-15 campaign.
