Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed talk of a bid for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.
Spanish reports suggest City are prepared to meet Messi's €200 million buyout clause.
Asked about the prospect, Pellegrini raised his eyebrows, smiled and said: "Just rumours."
