Manchester City are ready to up their bid for Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
Sky Italia says after failing with an opening offer of £18 million for the Italy U21 international, City boss Roberto Mancini is ready to up the stakes.
Aware of rival interest from Manchester United, Mancini has been given the green light to offer £35 million for the striker.
After indicating that he would not consider selling Balotelli, Inter president Massimo Moratti is expected to cave should City come up with the new bid.
