Manchester City are preparing an end-of-season move for Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol.

Albiol rejected an offer from City last month to stay in Madrid, but faces spending the remainder of the season in the stands.

Cadena Ser says City boss Roberto Mancini has identified Albiol as a defensive transfer target for the summer market.
