Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has denied claims that he is set to make a move for Liverpool ace Luis Suarez.
Recent reports have suggested that the Premier League champions were keen on bringing the Uruguayan striker to the Etihad Stadium for around £50million but Mancini has quickly poured cold water over that talk.
"Firstly we have a good team and we don't need to buy other players in January," he said.
"Secondly, we can't buy Suarez because we don't need him and we have four strikers. Suarez is a top player but he plays for Liverpool."
