Roberto Mancini is ready to sign a new contract with Manchester City.
The Mirror says Mancini's representatives have opened talks with City officials over extending the Italian's current contract.
And the 47-year-old will become the Premier League's highest-paid boss when he puts pen to paper on the new £5million-a-year agreement.
Mancini, who signed a three-and-a-half year deal with City when he succeeded Mark Hughes two years ago, will agree to a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2015.
