Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is pleased with Carlos Tevez's attitude in preseason training.

Mancini has hinted he's happy for Tevez to stay.

"I am happy because Carlos has been working very well since we started training. His attitude is good and we hope he can continue like this," Mancini told the Daily Mail.

Asked about Tevez's shift as a caddy at the British Open, Mancini added: "Yes. (laughs). Maybe next time he can be the referee? I didn't see it, but I saw it in the newspaper. I thought he had changed his job!"
