Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has played down claims of losing his rag with the players after defeat at Ajax.

Mancini was always very vocal as a player and he is not against listening to his stars' input - although he joked yesterday that he would use an Alex Ferguson tactic at the same time.

He said: "I talk with the players, with my hairdryer in this hand!"
