Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini faces a contract dilemma regarding Nigel de Jong.
De Jong has only got a year left on his current deal and is free to discuss terms with European clubs from January.
It's a headache for the City manager, especially as he has now lost midfield options in Owen Hargreaves and David Pizarro.
However, De Jong gave the Blues encouragement by stating: "My contract runs for another year, so I'm in a pretty good position and I would like to stay."
