Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says Mario Balotelli will be his Eric Cantona.
Cantona triggered Manchester United's domination of English football. City boss Roberto Mancini believes Balotelli, 20, can have that effect on the blue side of Manchester.
He insisted: "Mario could become one of the top players in the world within two years because he has everything. He is fantastic but he is young and needs time.
"There have been a few players like him before - Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
"I think that if Mario uses his head and changes his character, maybe not all his character, he will be one of the top players in the next one or two years."
