Manchester City boss Mark Hughes has denied reports that Vedran Corluka is on his way to Tottenham.

He said: "There has been interest shown but he played well (against Celtic) and I am pleased with him.

"There will always be speculation surrounding good players like him. He has had no contact with Spurs."
