Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola believes one of his players is going under the radar this season.

Guardiola has been happy about the excitement around Jeremy Doku, who arrived in the summer from Ligue 1.

However, he believes that the winger's great performances have caused people to ignore the outstanding Manuel Akanji.

“I know the man of the match was Jeremy, but at Stamford Bridge and yesterday Manu was unbelievable," he said days after his team drew against Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.

“What a signing the club has made with that guy.

“He can play full-back, central defender, now holding midfielder and when arriving in the final third he has the ability to make passes."
