Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is delighted with the form of Fabian Delph this season.

For victory over Leicester City, Delph shackled danger man Riyad Mahrez before taking an effective part in another scintillating attacking display.

“Good isn't he?" said Guardiola. “The only problem he has had is a lot of injuries.

“He won all the duels with Mahrez, and with the ball he is like a midfield player. He is safe, he is intelligent.

“We are delighted. We must take care of him not to get injured. We only have one full back left and it's Fabian."
