Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips may get more game time in the coming weeks.
The England international has struggled with life at City since signing in the summer.
The ex-Leeds United man, however, may be able to work his way back into manager Pep Guardiola's plans.
Guardiola told reporters this week: “Yeah, maybe yeah I would love it but Rodri is playing at an incredible level. So important for us.
“Yeah we need him. Sooner or later hopefully I can do it but we are delighted. A fantastic boy in training and always his motives perfect. The vibe he helps to have an incredible vibe with the team.
“Today with a lot of stats and analysis and data and these kind of things the motion and vibe of the locker room will be in the future the most important thing to be a successful team and Kalvin helps us do this."
