Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he was impressed by Julian Nagelsmann's tactics on Tuesday.

A late winner from David Silva earned City their Champions League win at Nagelsmann's Hoffenheim.

"I have learned a lot today by watching this team," said Guardiola.

"How he uses different areas, how he closes the space with the four in midfield, how they make the five in midfield from three and pull the winger inwards.

"They did very well considering he missed six, seven injured players."
