Man City boss Guardiola fires early warning at Nunes: It's not good enough!

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he wants more from Matheus Nunes.

Guardiola says there's room for improvement for the summer arrival for Wolves.

He said: "He can play holding midfielder or attacking midfielder and even at full-back.

"He has to improve with his first touch, it's not good enough yet. His energy is good and he played he last games with Wolves as a winger. He has so many qualities.

"He can dribble well and with time he'll learn how to be more precise with his first touch. He will get it."

Guardiola also today paid tribute to Kyle Walker after the fullback penned a new deal yesterday.

He added: "He has been really important.

"It's great that he decided to stay. His mind is here on the pitch, loving football and it's not a problem.

"Few players have genetics like him. He has stability in his life and it [his age] won't be a problem.

"He's already one of the captain's, the vote will be taken in the next few days and the boys will decide who is the first captain and who is the next.

"I've known Kyle for seven years and when he didn't play sometimes for tactical reasons he would talk about maybe leaving but he is such an important player to us.

"I was sad that he didn't get to play in the Champions League final, but look how good his response has been since then."
