Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits Sergio Aguero is unlikely to make their Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
City host the second-leg of their round 16 tie next week defending a 2-1 aggregate lead.
"No, I think it will not be possible," acknowledged Guardiola.
Aguero has been working hard to recover from an injury to his left knee.
City's squad enjoyed two days of holiday last week - Wednesday and Thursday - which many took advantage of to fly out of the UK and enjoy some good weather - just before their last Premier League game on Sunday.
City will now train fulltime to prepare for the duel against Los Merengues.
