Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson will take no pleasure from beating Fulham and close friend Roy Hodgson today.

"I would be sorry to see them go because Roy has been my good friend for more than 20 years," said Eriksson.

"It's always difficult when you take a team over and you don't have much of a chance to have an impact on them. It's very difficult to buy players in January, so of course it's a difficult job, but they still have a chance to survive."
