Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is keen to work with Danny Sturridge.

He told City's website: "Danny could be ready to train with us within a month," he adds, "and I'm looking forward to that because he is one I had heard of before I came here.

"I know that he is one of the biggest talents in English football for his age and I'm looking forward to seeing him. As a forward as well he will be especially welcome!"
