Manchester City and Barcelona have lodged bids for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.
Gazzetta dello Sport says City and Barca have both offered €50m proposals - which have been tabled to Inter director Piero Ausilio.
Skriniar has been a revelation for Inter since his arrival from Sampdoria and Ausilio is adamant he will not be allowed to leave. Indeed, they see Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij, who is joining from Lazio, as their first-choice defensive pairing next season.
Resisting City and Barca's offers will also go a long way to convincing coach Luciano Spalletti to stay on next season.
