Manchester City plan to push the boat out for Everton star Ross Barkley this summer. City are concerned about their quota of home-produced players and plan to address that situation in the summer.
High on their agenda is England ace Barkley, says the Daily Star Sunday.
Barkley is seen as too expensive by City, with Everton valuing him in the region of £50million.
City see a figure of £25m as more reasonable for Barkley and will test Everton's resolve when the summer transfer window opens at the end of the season.
