Man City on Argentine collision course over Aguero fitness

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is furious with the Argentine FA.

The Daily Star Sunday says Mancini is worried that Argentina will pressurise Sergio Aguero into playing against Peru on Tuesday.

The City marksman suffered a knee injury in the first match of the season when tackled by Southampton's Nathaniel Clyne and Mancini will request that Aguero does not play for his country this week.

There were initial fears that Aguero, 24, could be out for six months but scans showed there was no ligament damage.

However, City claim he is still not fit to play a match.
