Manchester United director David Gill has invited the anger of Manchester City over comments this week at a business leaders function about Financial Fair Play. The Daily Mail says there were no doubts among the audience as to which club he meant in his speech.
UEFA ExCo member Gill, chairman of the UEFA club licensing committee, said: "Tough investigations (over FFP) will be taking place over the next couple of months."
Former United chief executive Gill added: "In some cases, we're not talking about rich men owning clubs, but countries, and there will be work to do around related party transactions..."
