Manchester City midfielder David Silva says he can handle being man-marked.

He has no worries about being the player opposing managers are keen to mark out of the game.

Silva said: "Well that is also good for the team because, if they are that concerned, it gives more space to my team-mates. We have some great players who are good at taking advantage of that. We hope that at the end of the season that we have done things well and have taken advantage of those type of games to win the league.

"The new signings are doing really well and are giving a lot to the team, above all in terms of adding competition in the squad which is good for the team to always play at a high level."
