Manchester City star Leroy Sane has committed €500,000 to to help health services fight the coronavirus.

Sane has made the donation to a campaign called 'We Kick Corona' - which was started by German international team-mates Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich.

The duo pledged €1m between them - and now Sane has joined them to provide funds to help social workers and health services in Germany cope with the virus.

The money raised will go towards helping those affected by the killer disease - as well as provide new hospital equipment.

Bayern Munich ace Goretzka, 25, said: "Giving and helping each other is the order of the day at this time. On the pitch we can beat anyone, but we can only beat coronavirus together."
