Man City ace Nasri: No way back to France for me

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has again spoken of his split with France.

Nasri has not been considered by Les Bleus since Didier Deschamps took charge.

"Before the World Cup I had a great season with my club, it was not enough. The real breaking point was in 2012, what happened with the journalists. I tried to be good on the ground, but when I saw the list that was the straw that broke the camel's back," Nasri told Canal +.

"I will not return. I suffered for the national team. I loved going there."

Nasri continued: "I am not perfect, I have my faults, but when you're a great coach you manage the egos. I do not know a player who is on the bench and is happy.

"I always want to play, football is my life. I'm lucky to do that, but when I'm on the bench I'm not happy. I fight, but I'm not happy, that's how I am."
