Clayton Failla is eager to impress during his trial at Hull City.

Failla was surprisingly handed a chance during Hull's clash against Hannover 96 recently and the midfielder has now stated that he is eager to impress the Tigers' management in a bid to earn a contract.

The 29-year old, who plays for Hibernians in the Maltese Premier League, told inewsmalta.com: "I'm delighted by the opportunity.

"Undoubtedly this is a unique experience of the most professional environment.

"I was welcomed by everyone both technical staff and the players and the atmosphere is familiar but at the same time very disciplined.

"I felt I had a good show despite playing with new players but I played my normal game. Undoubtedly, this trial will improve me more as a player and I will continue to work until my dream to go abroad becomes a real one."
