Bologna coach Alberto Malesani is battling to keep his players away from the club's ownership chaos.

Club president Sergio Porcedda put the side up for sale after he was deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for allegedly failing to cover unpaid wages, something that could prompt a three-point penalty.

"We have to completely isolate ourselves, otherwise we'll end up stuck in a black hole," warned the Coach.

"The financial problems have nothing to do with us. It is pointless getting upset about something that, I am convinced, will in the end be resolved.

"Perhaps I am an exaggerated optimist, but I believe someone will go with their heart and ensure Bologna do not disappear. That is the most important thing."
