Paolo Maldini will make his first appearance for AC Milan against Athletic Bilbao tonight in their friendly clash.

"The Bilbao match will give me a chance to play a half or maybe even an hour," the 39-year-old, who has recovered from a knee injury, told the Milan Channel.

"I've worked really hard and been training on my own as well as taking part in nearly every session with the rest of the squad over the last few weeks."
