Malaga are in advanced talks for Celta Vigo striker Charles.
The Brazilian struggled for minutes last season and been convinced his best option is to move on.
Malaga coach Javi Gracia worked with Charles at Almeria, where he scored 27 goals in one season.
Celta will sell Charles for a fee of €300,000 rising to €500,000.
