Malaga defender Weligton faces two months on the sidelines after breaking his collarbone against Aston Villa.
The 33-year-old was injured in the 11th minute in a clash with Villa striker Christian Benteke, who scored twice for the home side in the 3-2 win at Villa Park on Saturday.
Weligton was taken to hospital in Birmingham for scans before returning with the rest of the squad.
